Unless marked as SOLD, the specific knives shown are
available; at least at the time I posted the photo. I can always make something
similar for you if a particular piece has been sold.
All knives are furnished with a one-of- kind heavy leather
sheath, individually fitted. These
will vary in style, some will have rivets, some stitched, some both. All sewing is double needle saddle stitched
with 5-cord waxed linen thread. A couple of examples of sheaths are shown

Proto-Bowie, 8-3/4 Blade,
steel fittings, Maple handle. I liked this one so much that I named it,
something I rarely do.
I am always amazed at the cutting power of these wide flat ground

copper riveted heavy sheath. Forged
blade has full distal taper.

SALE! REDUCED PRICE French style trade knives, 7 blades, upper knife has a striped
maple handle and a stick tang with iron ferrule. Lower knife has a walnut handle
and half-full tang. These are often called cartouche knives. Note the graceful
swaging of both blades. Despite the slender profile, these are very sturdy
